It’s understandable they are not ready to watch a realistic hero portrayal. These films you mentioned with deteriorating quality are meant for the majority in the State, whose cinema sense is terribly limited to these loud, colourful, low effort potboilers. Like I said we are a minority and films can’t be made for such a small population. We are exposed to different genres and languages and are ready to adapt our cinema sense to those films. People like you and me are a minority in the State. Since you have posted this here, I’m guessing you are an avid Reddit user from Bangalore (or probably been to). I don’t watch this serials but promos in middle of any show i watch catches my eye This even applies to all most all Indian language serials.
#Super kannada movie subtitles serial
serial is one of the media i explained, there is more. Stories with logical aspects to be involved, no remakes, good cinematography and direction is needed. Recently heard of serial where the hero is blind and a photographer ( claps to the great director who thought of this)Įntire Kannada industry needs to change in that matter. Same script in most of the serial created till now - hero and heroine introduction, love story starts will get married eventually, lady villain most of the time comes from hero’s family or heroine family, always has a criminal ideas to overcome any situation, hero/heroine gets to know it, then this cycle repeats again again till 1000 episodes, one of them goes to jail or eventually dies due to their criminal ideas or some cosmic level story. Watch Kannada serials, your mind gets blown. Where are the good directors? Where are the good screen play writers? Where are the good stories? Would anyone today buy a dvd of the latest movie and keep it for the next generation? We have become a first day first show collection oriented industry. I have old dvd of old kannada movies which I would still watch a thousand times than watch any of today's movies. I see movies in other languages with subtitles and feel sorry for the state kannada cinemas has reached. I feel these people promote movies out of pure love for kannada movies but such recommendation turn people further away from kannada movies. What is worse is die hard fans say the movie is "super" and ask you to watch only for you to realise that you were fooled. There are some gems in small budget movies which truly tell a story one can relate to but they don't find commercial success. Hero can't enter the screen in a non macho way. Story is either mix of 10 stories, hero survive on being macho.
"When ironman hits a villian you clap but when our hero hits a villian you find it funny" this is the standard reply. Any criticism offends the die hard fans who start abusing or stating that you don't have taste. Meta activity will result in instaban which are not revocableĬSS credit goes to the awesome work done by /u/TheHorrorFreak Bangalore Discord Bangalore Telegram Groupĭoes anyone else feel that the big budget kannada cinemas are horrible to watch? The stories are pathetic and make no sense, direction is horrible, comedy is worse than whatsapp jokes, fights look comical, item songs get jazzier each day, even the props team goes overboard and puts a dino skeleton in a medical college.
